Move Toward Mastery Meal Support Group

Our Moving Toward Mastery Meal Support Group is held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:30. This group offers recovering individuals skills from the Integrated Eating method. Throughout each 4 week cycle participants learn real time skills of structured, mindful, intuitive and mastered eating. 4 week minimum enrollment.

Embodying Sacred Recovery

Embodying SacrED Recovery is a closed group that will begin October 2019.

  • 7 weeks in length

  • Oct 6th - Nov 24th (Oct 20th off)

  • Sunday afternoons from 4-6pm

This group is ideal for those with solid recovery from the spectrum of disordered eating and eating disorders.

This group incorporates:

  • Yoga postures

  • Embodied body movement

  • Breath work

  • Meditation

  • Yoga philosophy and traditions

  • (including chakras and invoking divine god/goddess energy)

  • Sacred ritual

Each week attendees partake in a sacred journey towards recovery by embodying their whole selves. The fluid group incorporates yoga movement, breath and meditation. Then participants transition into a facilitated supported circle to process and discuss yoga philosophy and tradition while taking part in a balanced snack. An experiential sacred ritual will bookend the group. Weekly home practice will be given to deepen the experience further.

Cost: $1250.

Blair Silverman

Group Facilitator: Blair Silverman MS, RDN, CDN, RYT-500 is a registered dietitian in NYC. She received her masters degree in Nutrition from Columbia University. She has over 10 years of training and experience in yoga and meditation from India to NYC. Her experience in eating disorders encompass higher levels of care as well as outpatient settings in both nutrition and yoga. Using yogic philosophy, spirituality and humor, she works with clients in a holistic manner, helping to cultivate a mind, body, breath and spirit connection to support recovery.


Snacks for Sustainability

Integrated Eating is proud to present our Snacks For Sustainability workshop series. Three Saturdays from 2-3:30pm

This workshop series encourages attendees to learn the joys of preparing snacks to sustain recovery. Each session will include a therapeutic cooking experience with our culinary dietitian. Snack recipes will be shared and demonstrated. Then participants lean into the practice of making and eating these balanced, nutritious snacks.

  • November 16 | Homemade Pumpkin Spice Hummus

Michele Rafeld

Group Facilitator: Michele Rafeld is a Registered Dietitian and culinary nutritionist. Michele had a passion for cooking since she was a child and prepared dinners for her family when she was only nine years old. Michele holds a Masters of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University and completed both the Chef Training and Food Therapy Program for The Natural Gourmet Institute. Michele uses her strong foundation of nutrition science coupled with her extensive culinary background to help clients with their recovery process. Michele also writes for Integrated Eating’s, “Debunking Nutrition Myths with Mich”, a blog dedicated to discerning the nutrition truths from the fads.
