This important tool is enhanced when a recovering individual can access their soul through body connection. Whereas Mindful Eating asks individuals to notice inner body cues, Instinctive eating asks individuals to respond inner body cues. In addition in this specific stage of eating our clients discern body based cravings from emotionally driven cues. The skill that gets developed from this important tool is the ability to listen to the body’s needs and respond in an appropriate way.
